Keep Flying Safely
Whether you’re a professional or amateur aviator, you know that safety in the air comes before anything else. That means keeping your skills up to date and utilizing all the latest best practices for aeronautic safety. Staying safe in the air also means using only the best products when maintaining and repairing your aircraft.
If you talk to any experienced airman, he or she will probably have some pretty strong opinions about the products that get used on his aircraft. You and I might not think that there’s much difference between various aircraft parts, but if you’ve been flying for any length of time, you may feel very strongly about things like Semco tubes or other brands.
This sort of brand loyalty is especially prevalent when it comes to electronics. When a pilot buys a product like the Telex Airman 750 he knows he’s getting a product that’s going to work well when it comes to crunch time. And when you’re in the air, crunch time is usually a life and death situation.
Aircraft safety is no game, so pilots rely on the brand names they know and trust. This is how they are able to go up in the air without worry year in and year out.
